The Past: In 1958, Kagan-Dreyfuss produced a line of Vladimir Kagan-designed indoor-outdoor furniture exclusively for the New York department store W&J Sloan. Basic form and shape was derived from Kagan’s earlier Tri-symmetric designs; these new pieces, however, were extremely difficult to manufacture, requiring gang-welding, wire-bending, and bonderizing for rust protection.
