Bomboozled at ICFF

We are very pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair at the Javits Center in New York City on May 14 – 16 for trade people, from 10am to 5pm, and on May 17 for trade and the general public, from 10am to 4pm.

We will be at booth # 1163, launching our new book Bomboozled: How the U.S. Goverment Misled Itself and Its People into Believing They Could Survive a Nuclear Attack, by Susan Roy. Susan’s book captures the panic and uncertainty of Cold War American culture, using extensive archival photography and nuclear-era memorabilia to illustrate the paranoia and absurdity behind America’s family fallout shelter obsession. Our booth will bring you back to those good old fallout shelter days… Check out our feature on the ICFF website here.

Come try our survival crackers and emergency water, and have your picture taken with Miss Atomic Bomb! And come meet Sue herself. She will be signing copies of her book on Monday, May 16 at 3pm in the bookstore, right around the corner from us.

We look forward to seeing you there!
